The Journey Ahead
Crafted for performance and planet, this first iteration of Nike Forward reduces the carbon footprint by an average of 75% (due to the use of recycled materials, lower process energy use and lower material density) when used instead of our traditional knit fleece material to make an apparel product, representing one step along Nike's Move to Zero journey, towards a zero-waste and zero-carbon future. The carbon footprint of Nike Forward material is based on a cradle-to-gate assessment reviewed by PRé Sustainability BV. Trims and other minor components are excluded from the result.
